Celer

Celer is the stage name of husband and wife couple Will Thomas Long and Dani Baquet-Long. Dani is a writer/educator, publishing in poetry, prose, non-fiction, and social commentary. She is a photographer, painter, multi-instrumentalist, and vocalist, also performing under her Chubby Wolf persona. She has an extensive background in Gender Studies, Music Therapy, Education, Basque History, Photography, and Tibetan Studies, as well as having lived in India, Nepal, Sri Lanka, and the United States. Will works in the newspaper industry, has a background working in education and libraries, and is a published writer of fiction, non-fiction, and poetry, with extensive backgrounds of study in English and History, Creative Writing, Philosophy, and Literature. He is also an instrumentalist, growing up on the amateur piano, and a student of finding the meeting place in music between the acoustic and digital world, through field recordings, custom software, arrangements, mixing, and concepts. In Will and Dani's time together, they have produced numerous custom, handmade self-releases, sound for installations and art exhibitions, as well as creating works for independent labels in North America, Japan, and Europe. Their intent is to produce works of art that reflect the nature of love, family, and their concerns and interests, through a relative and absolute symposium of expression. They currently reside on the coast of Southern California.  Fortune craves not Contentment, for it is an earthly hope, and its desires are embraced by union with objects, while Contentment is naught but heartfelt. - Kahlil Gibran
