Woody, an artist, producer and engineer from Northern California’s Bay area, started playing guitar and drums at the age of 13. Five years later, he got his first keyboard and started his career as a producer of Hip Hop, Rock, R&B and Pop music. Woody learned all the technical aspects of producing, recording and mixing while attending school in San Francisco for audio engineering. While perfecting his unique sound, he interned at the infamous Record Plant Recording Studios in Los Angeles. Woody picked up valuable tips and advice from the music business' most successful. Woody has produced for many exciting new artists such as Charles Hamilton, B.o.B., XV, Talib Kweli, Shawn Chrystopher and Esso. He feels as though he can produce ANY genre of music. When asked to describe his production style, Woody says, "I believe in making a track sound like a song. The drums are very important to me and I rarely use the same drums on beats. If the drums bang, the other instruments will follow. I have done some great rock records and pop records, but I prefer to do Hip Hop. My definition of Hip Hop is melding genres and my influences into my own music”.
